PZU Ukraine ranks among top five companies leading in motor own damage insurance (CASCO) March 28, 2006
In 2005, PZU Ukraine collected insurance premium of 56,25 mln UAH from sales of motor own damages insurance (CASCO) that placed the Company among the five market leaders in this kind of insurance. In comparison with 2004, this rate has increased 2,2 times and is one of the best results among all insurance companies of Ukrainian market, Share of CASCO in portfolio of premium of PZU Ukraine reaches 48%.

On March 10, 2006 Andrii Ivanovych Peretiazhko announced his decision to demit the post of Chairman of the Management Board of PZU Ukraine IC, OJSC and PZU Ukraine Life IC, OJSC - two insurance companies that belong to PZU Insurance Group.

The net profit of PZU Group in 2005 reached a record level of 3 214.8m PLN and was 51.4% higher compared to the result of the previous year. PZU SA had the highest share in this result. Its net profit amounted to 1 736.9m PLN, i.e. 28.5% higher compared to the previous year.
