The project on assessing of brand value was conducted in Ukraine for the first time. The brands
were chosen on the basis of their recognition and size of the companies working under this
brand. The company’s income and expenditure related to selling of products under certain brand
name and risks that influence the brand’s position on the market were taken into consideration
during the estimation of brand value. In addition to all above, the brand value was adjusted by
taking into account the company rate of growth, monopolization of the branch and level of
state regulation of the market.
