Skide-West Insurance Company, JSC was registered in1993 in Lviv. 

Main shareholders: Ukraine Innovation and Finance Company, JSC, Poland Reinsurance Company, JSC, UIFK-Plus, JSC (Ukraine), Calefort Developments Limited Company (Great Britain). 

Now Skide-West, IC is an outstanding universal insurance Company, which has license for 46 kinds of voluntary and obligatory insurance. The range of «Skide-West» includes 38 branches and representative offices in Ukraine. 

Skide-West Insurance Group includes:

• Skide-West Insurance Company (non-life insurance), 
• Skide-West — Life Incurance Company (life insurance),
• SOS Ukraine Service (medical, technical, intoational and other kinds of assistance),
• Inter-Risk Ukraine (repayment after automobile accident in/out of the territory of Ukraine).

Company has qualitative reinsurance from risks. Its partners are outstanding Western reinsurance Companies: Munich Re, GenRe, Swiss Re, Transatlantic Re, SCOR, Polish Re and others; insurance companies: Zurich FS, Royal & SunAlliance, XL Insurance, Allianz, AGF, IF, ACE, Gerling (GKA), HDI and others; brokers: Marsh, Aon, Benfield, Heath Lambert, Willis, EOS Risq, Besso. 

Skide-West IC is a member of many professional and trade associations: Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, Sea Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, Aviation Insurance Bureau of Ukraine, League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, Nuclear Insurance Organization, and American Trading Chamber.  Skide-West IC has a «bright» policy for clients, partners and shareholders. Company has been collaborating with International Audit Company «Deloitte» for 4 years. 

Skide-West IC always confirms its top position in different ratings. In 2004 year according to the financial rating, which was held by newspaper «Business», it is the second time company took the first place as «The Most Professional Insurance Company» and Andriy Peretyazhko — the President — took the second place as «The Person of Insurance Market». Company’s leadership on the market was also confirmed by the ratings «Insurance Top», «Top-100, «The Best Managers of Ukraine» (Invest Newspaper), «Guard 500» («GaLutski Kontrakty»). 

Every year Skide-West IC is among the leaders of «National Club of Insurance Payment».
